The nine-day expedition expands west before entering Ha Giang, adding Phu Yen, Mu Cang Chai, Sapa and Bac Ha to the confirmed off-road core.
It is a stronger mountain route than the five- or seven-day options, with Level 3 riding early in Mu Cang Chai and again on the Ha Giang to Dong Van stage.
